Listed below are specialty rides or planned routes for upcoming rides. Everyone is invited to participate.

THE RIDE OF SILENCE WILL NOT BE QUIET
In May the Ride of Silence will roll across the country, starting at 7:00 PM. In many cities in the U.S. and Canada, cyclists will take to the roads in a silent procession to honor cyclists who have been killed or injured while cycling on public roadways. Although cyclists have a legal right to share the road with motorists, the motoring public often isn't aware of these rights, and sometimes not aware of the cyclists themselves.
The Ride Of Silence is a free ride that asks its cyclists to ride no faster than 12 mph and remain silent during the ride. There is no brochure, no sponsors, no registration fees and no t-shirt. The ride, which is being held during Bike Safety month, aims to raise the awareness of motorists, police and city officials that cyclists have a legal right to the public roadways. The ride is also a chance to show respect for those who have been killed or injured.

Join us on Wednesday Nights at 7 PM for our conversational ride! No one will be left behind, we adjust the pace to the slowest rider. Usually 16 - 20 miles at a conversational pace.
From Bicycle Sports parking lot. Come a little early, to check your tire pressure, seat hieght, ask a more experienced rider if you need help. All riders should wear a helmet on any ride, and have working lights (White-Front, Red- Rear) on night rides.

We Also have rides every Saturday morning that leave from the Colonnade Shopping Center parking lot at 8am. This ride is at a faster pace and usually has two groups that start together, with the advanced group riding approximatly 40 miles at 17-25mph and the intermediate group riding 25-30-40 miles at 12-15mph on most weeks.

Cycling Safety Tips
We suggest that you wear a helmet for any ride, and a headlight & red flashing light for all night rides.
